Ironline Command asks you to think a few moves ahead. You manage units, supply routes, and chokepoints while an AI steadily probes your defenses. It's the kind of game where a quiet two minutes can suddenly explode into a crisis you caused five minutes earlier.
The touch controls are well thought out — you can draw movement paths with a finger and queue orders without fumbling. We appreciated the pause-and-plan option, which keeps the game from becoming a frantic tapping contest.
It's not the prettiest game on this list, but the strategy underneath is solid. If you enjoy losing a mission and immediately knowing exactly what you did wrong, this one's for you.
