Fixing bottlenecks in Skyport Tycoon

The first time our Skyport Tycoon airport ground to a halt, we panicked and threw money at everything. That rarely helps. Almost every jam in this game traces back to a single bottleneck, and the fix is usually small.

Open the flow overlay and watch where the colored lines bunch up. That's your problem. More often than not it's a single security lane or one undersized gate forcing everyone through a choke.

Resist the urge to build outward before your inner flow is clean. A bigger airport with the same bottleneck just means more passengers standing in the same line. We learned this the expensive way.

Staff scheduling matters more than the tutorial lets on. Shifting a couple of workers to peak-hour coverage smoothed out our worst backups without any new construction at all.

Once you internalize that it's about flow, not size, the game clicks. We went from a constantly red dashboard to a calm green one just by paying attention to one hallway.
